Priority Pipeline M12: Design and Construct
Design and construction of Rand Water’s M2 pipeline replacement and augmentation. The M2 pipeline is an existing 13.75 km x 203 mm diameter steel water pipeline routed from Servaas Train Station (near Nigel) to Heidelberg. The existing M2 pipeline was replaced with a new 750 mm Ø steel Pipe (M12).
Warehouse: Store and Chill
Design, tender & site inspections for both the Can Warehouse and Cold Storage Warehouse. The Can Warehouse includes 2000m2 of storage space while the Cold storage warehouse includes 680m2. Both projects were designed and constructed to accommodate dolomitic conditions.
Project Harvest Phase 2
Expansion of the cider production capacity with new cider base tanks, flavouring plant with cold storage facilities, new dissolved sugar tanks, new cold and dry storage, new yeast propagation plant structural steel warehouse, extension to existing bright beer tanks steel structure.
Project BIG Phase 2
The addition of another storage warehouse of approximately 4500 m2 complete with 4 dock leveler loading bays, the addition of 9000m2 of external reinforced concrete hardstand, new primary asphalt and secondary reinforced concrete access roads for truck deliveries and collections, 14 000 m2 truck holding yard with ablution and recreational facilities for the truck drivers, A new gatehouse and weighbridge facility for the access control of the deliveries and collections, additional 4300m2 of reinforced concrete hardstand.
Project BIG Phase 1
The project included new concrete and asphalt road area, hardstands and paved area for crate stacking, offload canopy extension, and 18 800 m2 warehouse extension to their existing logistics facilities.
Yeast Propagation Plant
Various extensions to existing warehouses and specialized buildings including the Bright Beer Tanks (BBT), Yeast Propagation Plant (YPP), Flavour Room, Sugar tank platform as well as new Cold and Dry Stores. The total extended area included approximately 1300^m2 of industrial warehousing. Services included project management, civil, structural, fire, electrical, and mechanical engineering.
Civic Center Refurbishment
Redesign, alteration, and completion of the existing phase 3 buildings at Moses Kotane Local Municipality Civic Centre in Mogwase. The Scope of Works included the redesign and alterations to incomplete buildings for the civic center, completion of construction to existing buildings and walkways, and demolition and repairs to sub-standard work by previous contractors.
Chemical Warehouse
New chemical warehouse (725^m2) for storage of hazardous materials with emergency spillage containment and drainage infrastructure, canopy, loading & parking hardstands. Services included project management, civil, structural, fire, electrical, and mechanical engineering.
Brewery Office Building Renovations
Refurbishment of an office block and new entrance lobby. Services include civil, structural, fire, electrical, and mechanical engineering.
